Terms of use
Effective 5 November 2026
These terms apply when you use the Citizenship app or this website, run by the operator of Citizenship. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: support@localhost.
What the service is, and is not
Citizenship is an independent study aid for citizenship tests. Questions are written for this product and cite the official study material they are based on. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government, it does not give legal or immigration advice, and a readiness score is an estimate, not a promise of a result. Always follow the official instructions of the authority running your test.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in the app or on the web. The privacy policy says what that deletes.
- Do not misuse the service: no automated scraping of the question bank, no attempts to get around limits or reach other people’s data, and nothing unlawful or abusive in the reports you send.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
Organizations
Anyone may start an organization to support learners. Its name, its group names and its invitations reach other people, so they must not be abusive, hateful, sexual or misleading, and must not suggest that the organization is a government office or an official examiner. Invite only people who expect to hear from you.
Anyone an organization contacts can report it and block it from the app. We review every report, and we suspend organizations that break these rules: a suspended organization cannot invite anyone. Learners keep their own data whatever happens to an organization.
Passes and payment
A pass is bought once and lasts for the period shown before you buy. It does not renew and you are not charged again. Purchases in the app are made through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms, and refunds are handled by the store you bought from. Purchases on this website are processed by Stripe. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Content
The questions, explanations and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own study. Explanations marked as written by the AI tutor are generated by a model from reviewed material and may contain mistakes: report any that are wrong from the explanation itself.
Liability
We work to keep the content accurate and current, but official requirements change, and the service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the outcome of any test or application. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
If these terms change in substance, we update the date above and tell you before the change applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
